The Character of Honour

“On doom’s day the whole land is submerged under the sea, but the men with noble characters have a depth that many seas together can’t fill. They stand still in every good or bad situation.”

One who is noble abides by his own set of principles and ethics, against all opposition.

This verse in Chapter 3 of the Chanakya Neeti very aptly summarises the nature of honour.
